We make moves happen every day, 365 days a year. Most moves take place 7AM–11PM, but our team is happy to accommodate after-hour moves when needed. Holiday appointments are scheduled on a limited basis.

Our local moving rates start at $140/hour on weekdays and $150/hour on weekends, with a 2-hour minimum for 2 movers. This includes 2 professional movers and a truck.

Need a bigger crew? Here’s the breakdown:

• 3 movers – $180/hr (weekdays) | $190/hr (weekends) (3-hour minimum)
• 4 movers – $220/hr (weekdays) | $230/hr (weekends) (4-hour minimum)

We offer truck sizes from 10 ft to 26 ft — with no added fees for larger trucks. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees.

If you have any date and time constraints, we recommend scheduling your move as far in advance as possible, especially if you plan to move in the summer. Got 2 Go Movers does not require a deposit or cancellation fees, so there’s no downside to booking early. However, if you reach out on short notice with last-minute requests, our team will do everything they can to accommodate you and your move.

At Got 2 Go Movers, we accept the following payment options:

We do not require a deposit because we understand that plans can change. We do not believe in enforcing penalties for changes or cancellations. However, if you anticipate any changes and need to modify or cancel your move date and time, we appreciate as much notice as possible. This allows us to reschedule your move and release your original date and time to another customer on our waitlist.

At Got 2 Go Movers, we accommodate moves of all sizes. Whether you’re relocating a single-bedroom apartment, a large family home, or an entire office, we have the right team and truck to handle your needs. With trucks ranging from 10 ft to 26 ft, no job is too big or too small. Our flexible services — including loading, unloading, packing, and disassembly/assembly — make your move smooth and efficient every time.

At Got 2 Go Movers & Junk Removal, we proudly serve customers across the Chicagoland area, with a focus on the southwest and western suburbs.

Got 2 Go Movers can move pianos, but we recommend a professional pool table company to disassemble and reassemble your prized pool table. However, we are happy to relocate it for you once it is prepared.

Tipping is optional, but our crews appreciate it if you decide to provide gratuity for exceptional service. The amount is left to your discretion, but we typically recommend $5–$10 per mover per hour of excellent service.

While damage is rare, extenuating circumstances can sometimes result in damaged items. Our team will always do our best to repair any damages quickly and to your satisfaction. If you need to report a damage claim, simply contact your move coordinator and they will work with you to take care of everything right away.

Yes. Our crews arrive with the essential moving equipment, including dollies, moving straps, and protective pads/blankets. If you need additional supplies such as boxes, tape, or shrink wrap, let us know in advance so we can include them with your service.

Our estimates are based on the information you provide before moving day. If your move takes less time than estimated, you only pay for the actual time used (subject to the minimum hours for your crew size). If it takes longer due to additional items, stairs, or unforeseen circumstances, the rate is simply extended at the same hourly pricing.

While you are welcome to help prepare for the moving crew, our insurance policy does not allow anyone other than Got 2 Go Movers crew members to load and unload the moving truck. We encourage you to use this time to relax while the heavy lifting is taken care of for you!
